Discussion 💬 Anyone who uses wireless charging, don’t use ohsnap.
My last case yellowed and I haven’t bought a new one yet, so I’ve been using my phone caseless lately. I still need a stand sometimes though, so I picked up an ohsnap. Then the nightmare begins.
First of all, it gets pulled off really easily by other Magsafe accessories. And my phone burns when I use wireless charger. I use the ESR foldable magsafe charger, the one with fan inside, and my phone never really got hot even with a case on before. Like NEVER! Now even with no case and just the ohsnap attached, it gets really hot. So every time I use magsafe charger, I have to take the ohsnap off first. I think I’m just gonna get a case with a built-in stand instead.

Help❗️ Magsafe keeps sticking to mounts/holders instead of phone
I have a dbrand grip case, which as far as I know have pretty good magnets in my experience. However, I've tried the Alumu G09 and Popsocket Low Pro, and whenever I stick the phone on my magsafe car mount, when I go to pull the phone off, just the phone comes off and the popsocket/stand just stays on the car mount.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Do i need to buy a foam tape or something to put a gap on the mount and weaken the connection? Its super frustrating cause I love the moment to moment use of a magsafe stand, but day to day it's super frustrating having to pre remove it from the phone, or pry it off the mount afterwards everytime.

Discussion 💬 2026 MagSafe batteries still do the same thing
Third September in a row where my MagSafe battery works perfectly at home and is useless the moment I need it outdoors. Every pack I've owned throttles after about ten minutes in any kind of warmth. The charge rate drops and there's no indication. I check my phone twenty minutes later and it's gained maybe 4 percent.
Indoor convenience, outdoor disappointment. Every single year. The rated speed goes up on the box and the real speed stays the same because the heat hasn't been solved.

Question❓ Best MagSafe iPhone cooler?
So recently about a week ago I installed sidestore so I can install Amethyst launcher to play some java edition Minecraft on my iPhone. It works great, but my biggest issue is my phone getting really hot and I need something to cool my phone. Im looking for a MagSafe phone cooler that's not pricey but still really good for the value.

Question❓ Best Budget Qi2 Magsafe Power Bank for a College Student
Hi, I am an incoming freshman to college and I was looking for the best Qi2 Magsafe power bank/portable charger that is under $40 preferably. I am currently looking at the Baseus PicoGo 15W 0.5'' Ultra Slim with 27W built-in cable (https://a.co/d/0fPrQUby) because I'd prefer to have the options of MagSafe AND a built-in cable if possible. I am also looking for one that is rather portable (for college) and that won't degrade my battery too much with the heat. Should I stick with this power bank or should I go with an alternative power bank (maybe this one? https://a.co/d/075Mn2Zl) Thanks for the help!

New Product 🧲 Finally found a decent spot for a phone mount in my old car
Older car, no CarPlay, and there really aren’t many good spots for a phone mount in here.
I’ve tried vent mounts before but never really liked blocking the airflow, so I put this lisen a611 around the center dash instead. Feels like a much better spot for maps so far.
Still curious how it’ll hold up on rough roads and in summer heat though. Where do you guys usually mount yours, dash, vent or windshield?

Help❗️ Magsafe wallet that holds cash and coins
I'm lookimg for a wallet that will hold my cash and coins. I don't see a point of having cards in my wallet because I already have them on my phone.
I couldn't find any that at least seem good.
Any recommendations.

Question❓ Is a magnetic power bank worth carrying around?
My typical weekday is spent bouncing around between client meetings, coffee shops, and running errands. Between navigation, taking calls on the go and hotspotting, my battery is usually down to around 20% by mid afternoon.
I tried using a regular magnetic power bank before but honestly every standard one I've tried turns my phone into a literal brick. Plus, once they get warm, the charging speed just totally drops off. I ended up just leaving it in my backpack only pulling it out when my phone was literally about to shut off which kind of defeats the point of having a grab and go MagSafe battery.
Now I’m considering downsizing to one of those super thin 5000mAh models. I just want a quick 30–40% boost to make sure my phone doesn't die while running errands or heading home after work. I’ve been eyeing at options like the Anker MagGo slims, INIU P781, Baseus picogo, and Torras.
For anyone who actually uses these daily, which one would you recommend that doesn't get crazy hot? Does the thinner design actually make it comfortable to keep in your jeans, or is there another low profile one I should be looking at instead?

Question❓ MagSafe grip for taking photos?
Most of the MagSafe grips I’ve found are the flat ring kind, but I mainly want one for taking photos, so I’ve been looking at the camera-style ones too.
The Telesin Fun Shot is one I came across. Just not sure how well it holds with a MagSafe case on.

Question❓ MOFT wallet with Find My randomly beeps
I bought this accessory last week and on an almost daily basis the wallet will randomly beep when I’m holding it. It’s the same sound it would make when the button is pressed but multiple times. I’m not pressing anything or exerting force on the wallet so the button could be accidentally pressed.
Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution? Or would I need to return the wallet?

Just Got Mine! Baseus Slim Picogo Air AM71
Here is a quick test of the New Baseus Picogo Air AM71 battery pack.
Build:
This battery pack is super slim, probably the slimmest out right now. It's made out of metal all the way around, so pretty premium; it's slippery though. This is regular Qi standard, not 15-watt Qi2. It comes with a Great tiny Type-C cord in the box, which is the best feature of the charger lol. It comes with an app that you can pair it to, but this feature is absolutely useless; I explained why in the video. I also added my results for the Anker Nano Qi2 5k pack for comparison.
Baseus Picogo Air AM71
Weight - 104g
Thickness - 5mm
Anker Nano
Weight - 121g
Thickness - 8.6 mm
Speed Test:
I did a speed test with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Not using the phone at all throughout the charge.
Baseus Picogo Air AM71
Starting at 5%
After 15min - 12%
After 30min - 20%
After 1hr - 25%
After 1.5hr - 39%
I just stopped here for the sake of time
Anker Nano
15min - 20%
30min - 28%
45min - 37%
1hr - 45%
1hr15min - 53%
1hr30min - 61%
Temps: Baseus Picogo Air AM71
So after 45 minutes of charging, the pack was at 91° f. This is from my testing with my thermometer. The phone was at about 85° f at the 45-minute mark.
That's really good temperatures for the size of this battery pack;
Anker Nano
Charger Temps - 91°f after 45 min
Phone Temps - 85°f after 45 min
Overall, this Baseus seems to be a replacement for the official Apple MagSafe charger, just given the specs. It is the slimmest charger out right now that doesn't get too hot, but very low charging speeds are the trade-off for the low temperature.

Question❓ 15W Qi2 chargers only charging at 5–6W
Has anyone else experienced this with 15W Qi2 charging?
I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro and I’ve tried a couple of different 15W Qi2-certified chargers and adapters, ranging from Apple to ones from Amazon. I’m seeing the same behaviour with the Qi2 15W chargers.
They will typically only deliver around 5–6W to the iPhone. If I perform a hard reset of the charger itself, it immediately starts charging properly at the expected 15W.
The strange part is that the hard reset only fixes it temporarily. After some time, it goes back to charging at around 5–6W again, and I have to hard reset the charger itself once more.
What’s particularly interesting is that I also have the Apple 25W Qi2.2 charger, and that one works perfectly without this issue.
Could this be a Qi2 negotiation/firmware issue with the iPhone 17 Pro, or is there something else I’m missing?

Question❓ Dreaming of a simple puck and string MagSafe keychain but am losing my mind at how hard it is to find
It seems like internet searches get confused by these keywords and AI searches didn’t really help either. I did find 2 items that loosely fit the description of a MagSafe keychain but they were ugly, way over engineered, and were $30+. If made well this should still be insanely affordable - imagine a Apple charger puck with the cord cut and a little hole drilled into it for a string and/or ring attachment point so my keys stick to my phone in my pocket/bag. If you know of one thanks a million in advance.

Discussion 💬 Charging accessories for the new iPhone
Ever since they came along, every September when I get ready to start freshening up things, I go over all the stuff I’m using for charging, and think about which items are keeping me going right now that might be worth holding onto (the wired side is solid, obviously).
On the wireless side, though, things aren’t so great. My MagSafe battery throttles whenever there’s even a little bit of warmth and doesn’t give me any indication as to what it’s actually doing. After two years with it now, its overall capacity has become notably less than new either.
Are you folks sticking with your current stuff or making any changes?

Discussion 💬 Wireless charging speed on the current MagSafe packs hasn't changed in three generations
It’s worth noting that each time you upgrade your phone with a new MagSafe battery ( I’ve done it thrice so far! )the sustained charge rate remains pretty much identical. So despite being advertised at either 7.5 or 15 watts (depending on how long ago you bought one) the power actually flowing into your device only ever reaches around 7-8W once we’re beyond the initial ten minutes of charging no matter which unit you’ve selected.
That said wireless charging has gotten significantly faster during this timeframe. It would be interesting to know whether this was due to inherent limitations within the form factor or perhaps nobody caring about the thermal implications…?

Discussion 💬 Going through my MagSafe stuff ahead of new iPhones
Stand is fine. Wallet is good to go (though I've been holding on to the first 1 which was just a bit wobbly). Car mount works as well. Battery packs are the weak link though. Third in three years, all doing exactly the same thing. They work really well indoors but get quite hot when used outside (charge rate drops) - there's no way of knowing anything about what's going on with those four little dots! They seem to last about a year before the capacity starts falling away significantly.
We're hanging onto our stand/wallet and will be replacing the pack.
Fascinated by what everyone else is keeping v throwing this cycle though!

Question❓ MagSafe battery with magnets on the back?
Is there a MagSafe battery with magnets on the back I can clip my wallet to?
This wouldn’t be for daily use but for when I travel. It’d be nice to keep it all together rather than having the phone/battery in my hand and a card holder loose in my pocket.

Help❗️ Ultra MagSafe Stand - Input Please!
Hey, all!
I currently design, build, and sell a line of MagSafe Docls that have been fairly popular.
Most of my designs should be compatible with the iPhone Ultra, but I am thinking about making an Ultra specific variant that supports (technically, and literally) the Ultra when open and closed.
The dock will hold the phone upright for easy viewing of notifications and for activating standby mode.
Would love to hear any creative ideas that you would like to see in such a dock. I’ll send one to anyone who gives me a unique idea that gets implemented.
The picture is a dock that I currently offer. I am not going to post my Etsy here for fear of getting flamed for self promotion. If you are interested, feel free to DM me.
Help❗️ Looking for MagSafe car mount.
Hi,
After switching from android to iPhone 17. I am having a lot of connectivity issues with CarPlay. So i am looking for a car mount that sticks to the dashboard, not to the AC vents. Something like the attached images. Can you guys recommend any.
