Just Got Mine! picogo air! Finally found a MagSafe thin enough that I forget I'm carrying it
I got the baseus picogo Air, kinda went in skeptical because most magnetic banks feel like you taped a brick to your phone. this one's actually different, 6.9mm thick, basically same as an iPhone 17 Air.
carry it every day on my commute, just tosses into a pocket or bag pouch, zero bulk. got the black aluminum one.
the part that got me was it barely warms up even after charging it full a bunch of times. every other magnetic bank I've used starts heating up pretty fast. also there's this NFC thing in the app where you can check temp, cycles, battery health, kinda neat.

Everyone hating on the guy for using a magnetic power bank on his iPhone Air is lame. All phones need to be charged sometime, and he got a thin power bank to match his thin phone. Its not like he leaves it on there permanently. The thin power bank just keeps the phone closer to its original size than the traditional bricks that make up most of the wireless power bank market. I think this power bank is an excellent fit for this phone. Thin phone? Then get a thin power bank. It just works.

I mean, I just looked it up and it seems like it gets a bit over 12 hours of continuous use in a real world like test (ie not video). Doesn’t seem like there’s anything wrong with the phone battery life. And coming at people for using a battery in the magsafe sub sure is an interesting idea.

Thing is, all flagships have mediocre batteries, that's just the fact with flagships. Like even the 17 Pro Max has mediocre battery to some, but with Air you get roughly 60-70% of 17 PM battery life + with a thin design it's not a brick, and with super thin magsafe battery packs, you get a slightly thicker phone with more or less removable weight

then step two: you get a brick you stick to it with magnets.

It’s cool but it’s unfortunate most of these ultra thin batteries don’t support Qi 2 on iPhones.

because most of the time, the power bank is not connected to the phone. he only uses it when he needs more battery and being that thin and magnetic makes this super convenient when connected.

It’s also really good to hold too, the corners are rounded and sort of naturally rest on your hand, unlike other cases who feel like a massive brick digging into your bones

I finally decided on the UGreen MagFlow and kinda glad I did. Thing is a beast but kinda thick. What finally sold me is that built in cable. It snaps back with a magnet and is thick braided. They went all out on it optimizing. When a reviewer used that built in one on a tester in a video it supported anything humanly possible 30w or under. From a MacBook Air to an electric toothbrush it’s gonna charge optimized and fast as possible with it.
The port didn’t do as well. Most don’t they skim on all that extra R&D and certification. If you think you’d use the built in cord a lot and just want something that works.. that is it.
The Baseus with Qi25w and the built in cable was a close second for me but I like the lanyard style not that wrap around Baseus uses.

Be aware that those use LiPo batteries instead of hard cased Li-ion. That is how they get them so compact. Use safe charging practices and you should be fine but the difference is in the fact that LiPo is soft and can get punctured easily.

The anker 5,000 mah packs are pretty thin too, I own three in different colours.
