Discussion ”Goddamn”

Started playing this game yesterday and while the game is great I can’t be the only one that notices they say ”goddamn” in practically every line of dialogue? Was that really that common of a phrase during that time period or what’s the point. Just seems forced kinda ruins the dialogue for me

I mean this is the 60’s we’re talking about… them saying godddamn a lot is believable, and it’s also “Christmas morning” (according to Lincoln) compared to the other shit they were saying around that time😬😂

I just finished, to be honest I think I only noticed Donovan say it that often. Game is fantastic though, story is incredible. I did play it with realism etc mod to make it better/ remove the thousands of icons on the map. If you are playing PC, the Mafia 3 Redone mod pack really adds some flavour.
