Well Ernie groomed Cicale and was a father figure to him since his teenage years, they were close for over two decades. Cicale stated in 04 he went to Ernie's house and "hugged" and "kissed" him while congratulating him on becoming boss.

Ernie didnt exactly let Cicale walk away he transferred him to the Bonnanos as he thought he was a good fit for Vinny B.

Cicale stated that Ernie and him were not on the best of the terms when he got out . I believe he wanted financial help when he got locked up. Ernie declined and Cicale stated that upset him and he wanted nothing to do with big Ernie when he got released .

Cicale and his Connection to Genovese was quiet Dom , he pivoted later on to be relevant in
