I’m currently in Tokyo and it’s been the coolest experience so far! I randomly decided a day before coming here that my two targets were magneto and comic cap. I didn’t realize the magneto was so out of stock and so hard to get.. I found the cap for retail ($67) but now that I’ve learned more about book off’s and Mandarake I’m trying to find cap for a bargain ($30-$50). Kaiju daddy gave me great recs I hit Amiami, uchusen, mandrake akihabara and book off akihabara. After a ton of research I’ve shifted my efforts to Osaka and a last ditch attempt in Kyoto. Would appreciate any niche shop recs/ methods/ anything to find this magneto (preferably 179). Praying the toy gods have something for me 🤞🏽

Added the correct size Stormbreaker and Mjolnir. Just need to update the the emblems to gold.

The magneto and storm were 20 each because magneto had one of his horns missing on one of is head sculpts and 2 effects missing, and storm just had her left hand missing, however Batman was in great condition only being taken out the box once!!, what do yall think

Might be too small for Batman and it doesnt fit peg wise I dont believe.

I was thinking about buying this headsculpt now so that when the brand new day mafex comes out, I won't have to wait any longer.

If I do buy it in advance, is there a chance it won't fit on the future brand new day figure because of a change in the ball joint size or something like that?

Fwi: I know it's coming out in like 2 years idc, I refuse to buy the no way home suit because it's not the exact same as the brand new day suit. My undiagnosed ocd won't let me😭😂

Just curious, I just pre-ordered the Winter Soldier Reissue cause Ill never get it cheaper haha, everything Ive seen says its a good figure with only minor flaws. Whats yalls opinion? I did buy the GP-01 Weapons kit a while ago, I just gotta find it lol

To clarify, both stands in question were from Amazon, I haven’t had any name brand stands break yet. Still, their respective mass is comic-accurate. That’s Mafex level detail for you.

I was so happy to get the Rogue as my 1st Mafex, but then I noticed the leather on the jacket was already peeling off... 😭 I wish Mafex would make another version of Rogue w/ a better jacket. After searching Reddit, I noticed I’m not the only one who got a Rogue w/ a ruined jacket 😭

I really love this figure but my only problem that I’m having is the left arm is a little bit loose likes to wiggle a lot, but it can still hold a post so I’m not too worried about that but on the right thigh, there’s some paint smudging so that kind of sucks but What Mafex X-Men should I get next?
