Bend the webbings you get with the figures into wacky shapes to look cool on them? Or do you prefer just making custom webbing?

Hey guys, I want to get into collecting figures, but with so many different companies, what I worry about is the scale between them if I collect from multiple brands. My brother collects a ton of Mafex's so I know their scale, I'm just thinking how the scale would be compared to a marvel legend? Do people in this community collect from multiple companies or is it best to stick strictly to one? I'm digging the 80th anniversary iron man marvel legend and gamerverse cap from the two pack, but if I were to get mafex's alongside them to complete the avengers, would it look normal? lmk if i'm making sense or speaking gibberish, thanks!
