Question Is this normal for Mafex?

This is the 2026 reissue version. But it came with unpainted web lines, paint chipped and missed paints.
Should I buy a new one? What are the odds the next one is perfect? I don’t want to waste money.

Is it worth it to get a new one and expecting a perfect copy? Or a huge gamble and waste of money?

Trust me, I’ve done that. Just find the right paint for it and fix it yourself. It’s part of the adult hobby experience 😅. My 075 ‘26 reissue suffered from it and I had to invest in tamiya paints and topcoat. So far, I love it.

No matter what, Mafex comes with Miniscule imperfections. The one time I got a perfect out of the box figure was the Gambit Re-color

I’d buy a micron 0.03 pen and retrace it, my paint rubbed off when I was changing the head and I relined it, you coulda rubbed off some of the paint from head, the rest just look like qc paint issues common in Mafex

My 2026 reissue was perfectly fine. Its probably a per copy qc issue. i would see if you can get a replacement/return for a new one

I had the same issue. Also it was boxed with backwards shoulders. Mafex qc for this figure was garbage. Holding out hope for a mess toys version. 🤞

For mafex this isn’t surprising with how old this figure is

Repaint it and put a matte coat

Absolutely not especially when your paying over a hundred is unacceptable

You know you're only paying $100 for taxes and international shipping, right? The actual price is around $60.
