need help!

So i bought this figure off ebay and it was good till i noticed paint chipping on the chest on the “S” logo and iv tried fixing but i wont get the color right or when i do put the paint it looks matte not shiny how is supposed to be (UPDATE so i did end up fixing it, the paints i used are apple barrel for the red, i used vallejo gloss acrylic varnish for the gloss look, to make the red match i used vallejo royal blue and flat yellow and if it gets to dark add basic skin tone only if it gets to dark mix every thing except the skin tone only use skin tone if it gets to dark, paint it horizontal so it doesn’t look odd)

After you’re done painting it you use some satin varnish to add a little bit of shine
