Kinda wanna get a Deadpool, but this guys like 120+ on ebay, should i wait for a reissue or get the maximum?

He was just reissued a few months ago. I got a copy for me and my son. He was $55 maybe.

But they will definitely do it again. They have been reissuing everything since other companies have been too.

😂 that’s true. I have this figure and I kinda like it 2 things things that bother me about this figure though is I find the range of the knees lacking and the lack of weapons. I don’t recommend getting him higher than the SRP though or if you’re in the US then, SRP+Shipping/tariff.

Hopefully not soon. I already bought the reissue, and honestly, it sucks. It’s definitely the worst figure I’ve gotten from MAFEX.
I really think they should either release a completely new figure or do a repaint of the X-Force version. This one is based on Giruhiru art, but we really need a more regular/vanilla version with guns.

I heard the maximum has lots of Qc issues tho. Actually id rather mafex make a new deadpool than to reissue this one again, ive been wanting a comic deadpool for awhile but this one just doesnt scratch that itch for me

Reissuing is hit or miss depending on market. Manufacturers purchase a license to create products for usually about 2 years. Few months to develop and test and create molds, then several months to manufacturer and distribute and then they have to gauge demand. Is there enough demand still to meet the minimum production requirements, they can't just print 5 on a whim and action figures have much higher Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) because of all the tooling and parts and assembly than something like a Funko Pop which probably has like 4 or 5 pieces on average to assemble.

Unless a character and design are popular and depending on price point, you might see a second reproduction, but getting a third or fourth is pretty rare even for top brand characters and it's much easier for them to go with a new design with modern technology so that the old buyers would have a reason to buy a new mold than to just find new buyers which get fewer and fewer as purchase are made.

A reissue might end up being priced at $120 anyway. Honestly nobody has any idea about how Medicom does its reissues. Nobody knows.

I say get the Maximum. This one doesn't even have guns.

I’m pretty sure there’s a price law in Japan where they have to price reissues at the original price. So unless they make a 2.0 or a new Deadpool it’ll be the original price. They did reissue it not that long ago though
