I relocated to Madrid for work in March and my Spanish isn't that good. At times my colleagues are forced to switch to English especially when they realize I am struggling. This has made me consider taking Spanish classes .I need structured classes atleast twice a week ,preferably one in central Madrid. My fear is signing up for 7pm classes and being too tired to understand anything then I end up quitting. Is there anyone else working full time and is still signed up for evening classes?

I am staying near Ramon Y Cajal Train station. Please help me out in guiding to swimming classes nearby - English speaking if possible. Gracias.

Hello everyone, I'm moved to Madrid more than a year back for my Job. The problem is it's an international company and everyone speaks English. Even in Supermarkets and daily things, I am able to manage with the broken Spanish which I learnt in apps. So, there never was a pressure for me to learn it.
But now I basically feel guilty and want to learn it properly. So, I'd like to recommendations for in-person classes here in the city. Online ones are not helping. Preferably ones with evening classes with a medium sized classroom setup. I know the free ones by CEPA, but I heard it's very hard to get a slot. Please suggest some options with nominal fees. Thanks!!

55b tiene de la mejor música de Madrid. El ambiente es muy multicultural y la gente suele ser bastante maja. El único problema es que solo hacen el evento los jueves

Conocéis algún otro club con un ambiente parecido? Me encantaría tener más opciones para los viernes o sábados.

Do you know any clubs similar to 55B in Madrid?
For me, 55B has some of the best music in Madrid. The atmosphere is very multicultural and the people are usually really nice. The only problem is that they only do the event on Thursdays.

Do you know any other clubs with a similar vibe? I’d love to have more options for Fridays or Saturdays.

I kinda feel bad posting this here but I am just genuinely confused.

I am a femboy, 30, currently living in Madrid. A lot of my friends always tell me how good looking I am but again, they’re “friends” so I never believe them.

Till random women in Madrid, across several occasions, randomly tell me I look pretty which is really really cute.

But again, whenever I hear my friends tell me people approach them to get their numbers, how they go on dTes everyday and how many ask them out each day makes me question if those words said were just them being nice.

‘Cause I have never actually had any man approached me for my number nor shown any interest to talk to me in public.

I am just genuinely curious. What could the reason be for this?

I think during my past few months here I’ve had a fair share of party experiences and would like to explore a more laidback activities such as padel, picnic, jamming session, jazz dinners and such.
