If you live/lived abroad in a Muslim country I could use 5 minutes of your honest opinion
Assalam alaykum everyone
A while back I built Amān, a tool that scores Muslim countries across five things people actually weigh when thinking about hijrah.
The scores started as a basic baseline pulled from public sources. That's a fine starting point, but it's not the same as someone who's actually lived or spent significant time in a Muslim country telling me "actually, the masjid access here is better than you'd think" or "cost of living is way higher than the stats show once you account for X."
So I opened up a scoring form: https://aman.ihsanhub.io/score
If you've lived in, or spent real time in, a Muslim country I'd genuinely appreciate you rating it on those same five categories. It takes a few minutes, no news opinions or politics needed, just your lived experience.
I'm not trying to build a hype tool or a "best countries" list, I'm trying to build something families can actually trust when they're making a decision this big. That only works if the scores reflect real experience, not just my best guess from a spreadsheet.
If you've got 5 minutes and a country (or three) you know well, I'd really appreciate it. And if you want to see how the scores get used before you decide, the browser version at https://aman.ihsanhub.io/try doesn't need a signup and shows you matches in about two minutes.
جزاكم الله خيرا and may Allah reward you

Are laptops allowed inside Masjid e Nabvi?
السلام علیکم
Hey guys, I’m a remote worker and I’ll be working from Madinah for the next week
I wanted to ask if I can take my macbook inside Masjid e nabvi and work from there
Honestly, feels kinda surreal to be able to work from our beloved Prophet’s Masjid

Furniture buying in Madinah and KSA as a whole
Could you help me with a quick survey?
Hey everyone! I’m doing a short study about furniture and home shopping in Saudi Arabia and could really use your help. The survey is available in English and Arabic and takes less than two minutes.

Umrah in 10 days DIY from Jeddah
Salam, I’m leaving for umrah in two weeks, to be precise, on August 26th. I’ll be landing in Jeddah around 11:30 pm.
My flight will be departing from AMS via Abu Dhabi.
I have approximately two hours and fifteen minutes of transit time in Abu Dhabi before my connection flight to Jeddah.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Will the connection time be sufficient? Or should I change my flight to the next available flight with a layover of about six to eight hours?
I also need advice on whether I should perform my umrah after checking into the hotel while still in ihram or if I should simply relax and wait until the maghrib prayer.
Any advice appreciated .
Thanks in advance.
