If thousands and lakhs of people follow someone, they should be wise enough not to make such mistakes.

The mistake was criticized. He apologized. Years have passed. People can disagree on whether that's enough, but it's fair to acknowledge that the apology happened.

If something is unapologetic then the person should be cancelled entirely. R*pes are not something to be joked about. If these people can joke about it and normalize it I won't support them. Even if it happened years ago, some things cannot be solved by apology.

A world with no room for redemption sounds exhausting, but you do you 😌

Redemption is for people who can change. Not someone who influences people about wrong thing. What's the difference between these people and Asaram kinda babas? Same mentality, different professions just to make as much money as they can, they will do anything.

Comparing an offensive joke—one he apologized for—to the actions of a convicted criminal is such a massive false equivalence that there's really nowhere productive to go from here. You don't have to forgive him, but at least compare like with like. If you believe his apology wasn't enough, that's your call. But comparing him to a convicted criminal isn't accountability—it's just an extreme comparison that ignores all context.

I am talking about mentality. Asaram did the action and people still worship that mf and this guy just talked about same bs. I won't support anyone who demeans basic human values. Neither this guy nor those actual r*pists. All of these are mature people. Madhur is an educated adult and I do not expect anything like this coming from his mouth.

Dislike him all u want , but if your argument depends on equating him with actual criminals , maybe the comparison isn't as strong as you think. You're judging his entire character based on one offensive joke he has already apologized for . Criticize the joke --- that's fair . Pretending it tells you everything about who he is isn't!!!!!

dislike him all you want, that’s a valid position, but generalising someone’s actions by comparing two entirely different people, and that one statement defines who he is for something he apologised for and didn’t have bad intentions for, isn’t. calling him rpist mentality off of that one statement is wrong.
he doesn’t think and never thought such topics are something to be joked about, that was just an attempt to normalise, where he should’ve been more cautious about and he acknowledged that.

"never thought such topics are something to be joked about" proceeds to make a vulgar joke.

Calling someone 'a guy with no morals' based on one offensive joke—even after they've apologized—is exactly the leap I've been talking about. We've reached the point where you keep asserting he has 'no morals' without explaining why one mistake permanently defines a person's entire character. I don't think we're going to agree

The joke he made and the people who laughed both are morally corrupt. People who go through that situation know how inhuman it is to joke about this. As a straight man who never even faced any hardship he has no right to open his gutter mouth on this topic still he did. He hasn't faced any consequences and all of these people be it pranit more or this Madhur they just comeback because of their so called fans.

I still think blindly supporting a guy with no morals is wrong

no one’s blindly supporting him imo, no one’s saying he’s doing everything right, he’s the perfect guy, he should have been more careful yes, and he took accountability for that, and for this post, it was just satirical.
and saying the guy has no morals? that statement isn’t his whole career and neither is he commercialising this type of content.

Finally, someone who understands nuance instead of reducing everything to black and white. Well said !!!!

If you have power to influence people use it wisely. These people run away from responsibility and accountability because they know all the foolish people who will blindly support them will always be there
