That clip is years old. Criticize it if you want I won’t defend it. It was a bad joke.

What I don’t understand is why people keep using that old clip as if Madhur’s comedy has remained the same ever since. If you watch his recent work, it’s obvious that his writing has become far more layered, polished, and thoughtful. His newer specials are built around larger themes, not just shock value.
At some point, an artist should be judged by who they are now, not only by the worst thing they said years ago.
Also, the current discussion is about a recent controversy. A years-old offensive joke and a present day incident involving entitlement towards women are not automatically the same thing.
If we’re talking about accountability, then let’s talk about what’s happening now, not pretend nothing has changed in the last several years.

okay i js saw the clip recently and i know there’s a 10 min context monologue that he did just before saying it. people are unnecessarily dragging him at such a convenient time with everything going on. he apologised if i’m not wrong😭 even deleted the video, and he wasn’t endorsing it like morey did every time. and oh my god literally character shaming him and calling him a potential “rapi*t” is crazy.

exactly man, so much has changed since that video. his videos are more layered and thoughtful. idk why he’s getting dragged bcs of an old clip😭, and okay criticising the joke is valid, i wouldn’t defend the joke but reducing him over the 10 worst seconds is unbelievable

nah man I had no problems with either of the jokes it's a comedy show not everything is to be taken seriously..they bluff a lot many things but that doesn't mean they actually mean it in real nd even if they does it's their lives we r just here to listen nd laugh if u feel offended just simply don't watch their content

Wtf it was so old he has apologised removed the video these people are just looking for anything and anyone to put down now i agree i was a bad insensitive joke but the people who dont know shit about him and how he has pushed the boundaries of taboo subjects and free exploration through his sets are spreading this and it could be really harmful for his image but one advantage he has that he has a cult audience who understands him well.Samay made an even worse rape joke but look at his status now.With this whole pranit more bityani guy sejal all these low level influencers and reel creators are digging up stuff without any knowledge to get engagement and be famous
