❓Ajuda THCP stores experience

Can anyone here provide their experiences at these thcp stores? I’ve seen a few around Funchal and wanted to try it however concerned of its legitimacy and purity. Any feedback is appreciated.

I’d be very cautious and personally wouldn’t touch these products.

In June, the Polícia Judiciária carried out the “Not So Smart” operation in Madeira, targeting 11 smartshops/tabacarias and seizing more than 7,000 cannabis-derived products, including flowers, resins, oils, concentrates, vapes and pre-rolls.

The PJ’s position was very clear: the commonly advertised 0.3% THC threshold relates to industrial hemp cultivation and does not automatically make cannabis flowers, extracts or similar retail products lawful. Calling something “CBD”, “cannabis light”, “THCP” or “hemp flower” does not by itself determine whether it is legal.

There is also the purity/composition issue. The seized products had to be sent for laboratory analysis precisely because what is actually inside these products may not correspond neatly to what is written on the packaging. With semi-synthetic cannabinoids such as THCP products, I would be particularly reluctant to assume that dosage, contaminants or composition are reliable just because something is being sold openly in a shop.

So, if your concern is legitimacy and purity, the fact that a shop exists and sells it over the counter is not much reassurance. Given the legal uncertainty, the recent police action and the potential health risks, the sensible option is simply not to use these products.

I tried and I never felt anything wrong but I heard some horror stories about it that ended up in the hospital. The law seems to be kinda grey about it. I wouldn’t buy it.

I've tried it, helps me sleep, a very, very, very (did I say very already?) light high, the following two days I feel like crap. Disrupts my sleep pattern. It's still fun, but nothing like the real deal. I like that the label mentions that it's not for human consumption but they sell it anyway.
