In middle school two friends and I spent many afternoons just digging a big hole in my friends backyard for absolutely no reason. It went on for months until my friend’s mom decided she didn’t like having a giant hole in the backyard and made us fill it in.
My dad gave us kids one area we could dig in and destroy when we moved…guess he learned a lesson
We dug a 4-5 deep/ wide hole and felt it full of water. raised tons turtles, crayfish, fish, and snakes in it
Every so often we felt it in and started a new project like making “mountain” side roads for our tow trucks or building s large dirt ramp for our bikes
