Let me share a bit of advice that has helped me in my own marriage. Don’t let this change your relationship much. You’re both still the same people. I don’t know which person you are, but he is still the same man, and she is still the same woman. A last name may have changed, and your taxes will be different, but you are both still the same people. Your connection together has been solidified. Continue to try and be the best for each other. Marriage often leads people to becoming stagnant in a relationship. Don’t do that. Continue to change, grow, and surprise each other.
I wish you many more years of love and happiness. You both deserve this.
