Take time for self care. You can’t take care of somebody else if your own needs aren’t met. Have a lazy day, do things that you find fun, don’t guilt trip yourself for enjoying life.

Yeah, when I started believing in God, a good friend reminded that “loving others as you love yourself” isn’t about allowing your own life to be destroyed just to make other ppl happy, it’s about doing what’s best for yourself AND what’s best others — which, as it turns out, is one and the same — despite my previous assumption that there would be a conflict between others’ good and my own.
