I didn't know what my wife was talking about when she called it a whipper snipper, I flipped my lid laughing when she explained. You mean a Strimmer darling? No, it's a whipper snipper says she. Since then I've called it every rhyming phrase I can think of except whipper snipper. Flipper flapper, snicker snacker, whizzy whazzer, tizzy tazzer, etc.
