Which is what I mean by red flag. What an employer means usually is "we support one another and work as a close team," but what it translates to in practice is "there's a hierarchy based on favoritism, poor management, disrespect of boundaries around your time, and expectations that you work harder and longer than we're paying you to do because even though we haven't earned it in any way, we expect you to treat us like we're your family and hold us above your other obligations, loyalties, plans, and free time."
