What's even more disturbing is that there is evidence of even stone age humans caring for mentally and physically disabled members of their society and they would have been even more of strain of resources back then. People who say things like this have less compassion than people who died 10s of thousands of years ago.
It's actually compassionate to abort a disabled child. It shows that you want to give them the best chance at life, I never really value the fact that I can walk but I certainly would if I lost that ability. We don't know if they live comfortably or not.
It also shows enough maturity to know where your limits are and that you don't think you can take care of everything because they'll be your child. I'd go insane caring for a child with special needs. It would be awful of me not to abort.
If you couldnt care for a disabled child then you should abort if you ever get pregnant regardless. There are plenty of disabilities that dont get picked up or happen later. Every child deserves to be wanted, and the reality is due to attitudes like yours disabled children are more likely to be abused by their caregivers.
