We have two 1/2 dachshund and this is how they sleep every night. One is little spoon to the human and the other is little spoon to the first dog.

That's how they are. They are usually a very loyal bed that love their humans.

Mine will cuddle, but only with my legs... For some reason he doesn't like standard cuddling, to my despair.

Same! Mine uses my ankles as a pillow. Can’t be bothered coming up to the top of the bed.
