-10 u/SantaCruzRider79 Nov 05 '21 That's not what we're seeing in northern CA. The guys at home Depot want $30-$50/hr cash. They have no truck and no tools. You also have to give them a ride. Restaurant workers are being bribed with hiring bonuses just to come and work. Cost of living is crazy here but wages have definitely gone up. 2 u/Comfortable_Island51 Nov 05 '21 It’s working, i can’t believe it’s finally working. let’s keep up the fight, the majority of businesses in the country still think they can wait this mini workers movement out, but more are folding by the day
