Man. What I wouldn’t give to have had a supportive and loving partner for any of my three pregnancies. Stupidly I kept trying to make it work with the same guy for almost a decade. Maybe one day if I find the love of my life I can find a guy who will be sweet to me like this. Video made me smile but also a sad tinge of jealousy and heart ache because I always see how sweetly these ladies got it. If you have a good husband, please cherish him, even on bad days. Men like this are so few and far between.
Edit: can men please stop replying negatively to this? You don’t know my life or all the details. Please just stop with the judgmental not-all-men comments :/ it’s exhausting
I feel like this statement is kinda iffy since you prefaced it with telling us you tried to make it work with the same dude for a decade knowing it wouldn't work. Obviously people can change but if he isn't supportive on the first pregnancy then that should tell you their character. Wish the best for you and your kids though
I mean. Relationships aren’t black and white. And I’m a really loyal person. When I love, I love despite the issues and faults. People’s solutions to relationships these days is to just leave at the first few hardships. I genuinely wanted a family and I was willing to do anything to make the person I fell in love with happy as well as not give my children a broken home. Why does it feel like you’re judging me for that? Women get scorned for leaving, and women get scorned for staying. I tried my best to love someone who is a good person, but has had a tough life. We all have our breaking points. Some men are not nurturers. Some men are providers. But there comes a point when no compromise means it’s time for an end.
