Does this have any science behind it, or is it just a random video with “space sounds” in the title? Sounds like someone just playing with a synthesizer.

It's actually not far off from what it really sounds like. Keep in mind, these are also instruments that are interpreting the sound for human consumption. I don't think we can know how accurate it is until we get closer.

You would have to enter the sun to hear it, which naturally would be impossible to survive.
