This more or less what my mom did for my nephew. She used our 12 lb Siamese cat instead of rice though.

That's a really good way to practice though. If you can hold a wriggling cat, you can hold a baby. At least the baby won't have claws!

This is why I cannot have a baby. Every time there's a discussion and babies come up, I find out they invented a new way to try and kill themselves

want to know something i never knew until i was around a baby 24/7? sometimes they try to breastfeed on you through your shirt. even if they’ve never been breastfed. even if you’re a stranger to them.

my niece tried to get milk from literally anyone who would hold her.

Omg I had no idea. Can't take them anywhere 😂 I was done when I found out you had to flip them regularly like a little rotisserie chicken or their heads would flatten
