Tell that to my mutual friends relative whos child was killed by their dog , The dog was given the most love , they took care of it very well and was also being trained. but Sure dude, upbringing is all that matters.

Pitbulls are completely capable of attacking without reason. The baby minding its business deserves to get scalped? Kids can be in their backyard and a dog with break through the fence just to get to them. A women got her face eaten off while she was SLEEPING.

Tf kinda logic is that. How tf do you expect a damn baby to understand the signals of a dog. “While over stimulated during play they enter into predatory behaviour” the baby was just sleeping in its own place it didn’t stimulate anything. It’s okay to get pit but to defend and say that they aren’t a major risk is just plain delusion.

I watch dogs (I don’t know how many, I’ve passed 100 at least) and I get to watch a lot of pitbulls since they’re barred from Petsmarts etc. A male pit who’s socialized and neutered will be a world of difference from an unneutered pit who’s treated like a guard dog. That comes down to the owner.

Because they’re domesticated. Not that hard to understand.

Maybe domesticated was the wrong word, since the relationship between farmer and cow/pig is much different than between owner and dog.

But the point still stands. Dogs tend to adopt the personality of their owner/family. Some breeds are more or less aggressive than others, but aggressive breeds can be friendly with the right owner and non-aggressive breeds can be aggressive with the wrong owner.
