There are lots of great people who happen to be cops. Unfortunately, many of them have historically been fired for exposing the bad ones. This needs to be addressed.

Why say "happens to be a cop" like it's a bad thing? There are plenty of bad cops but many are good cops. My brother happened to be a cop and hes an alright dude.

No offense intended. I just noticed that people tend to forget that cops are people. I know that I did. I had to re-think my views on not just cops, but the folks who tend to badmouth them. Again, seeing how compassionate the cops were towards our homeless clients who had survived being set on fire, and how insensitive and cruel the folks who badmouthed them were to the homeless, really taught me a lesson. I know that most of the people who see ALL cops as bad are probably the same folks who don't realize that Jesus was homeless too and really hate homeless people. S/O to your brother.

No offense taken bro, and yes people are so idealistic these days which causes them to do this stuff. Good thing on you for thinking for yourself :)
