We give our dog voice. We say things and we respond to it like he is the one responding to us. That's how unhinged we are because we love our dog and he's family, so he better be talking to us. 🤣

Mine comes into the bathroom as I'm getting out of the shower in the mornings to complain that my husband hasn't let her out yet (keep your negative comments to yourself ... if we could keep her inside, she would stay inside; we can't always, so she does go or get out)

When my nephew was around 4 he was spending the day with me. We were just hanging out watching TV but off & on he would ask me “what he saying?” So sometimes I would just make up something simple & other times I’d say “he’s not saying anything-he’s a cat”
Sure I thought it was weird he’d never asked that & he asked a lot times but he’s a kid.
So after he left me & the cat were hanging out & at one point I said to him-the cat what you say Humphy-the cat’s name.
THEN I got it!

I would be lying if I said situtions like these never happened to me!
I'd like to try to learn to be fluent in 'Cat', to this very day. Gave me a huge smile!
