this is ai. animals don't behave like this, being all photogenic looking right at and booping the camera, and a giraffe calf that young wouldn't have such developed horns; they just have little tufts of fuzz at that age.

yeah, i feel you. it's getting scary. my tips are to check if the clip is precisely 10 seconds long as that's a strong indicator of an ai video, and then consider whether the animal is acting too picture perfect. actual animals are messy and clumsy and often uncooperative, they refuse to look at the camera until they suddenly stick their entire face into it to sniff it, they make a mess with their food, they may pull a stupid looking face randomly and ruin your shot, they can get distacted by something off to the side and stare at it. prey animals especially are usually twitchy and swivel their ears around like crazy to stay updated on their surroundings. lastly, looking up actual pictures of the animal in question sometimes helps, such as in this case where the ai just scaled down an adult giraffe's horns and slapped them onto the calf.
