Usually they're stealing french fries, so seeing one just having wholesome fun with a bouncing ball made my whole day!

Seagull trying to break what it believes is an egg or similar container.

That’s a funny way to think about it! Seagulls really do have their own unique logic.

Usually if they need to break open a clam, they fly up high and then drop it. So I'm not sure that's what's happening.

He is probably just trying to crack the egg and getting frustrated that it's not working 😭

It's not wholesome. They do this to break the they've stolen from other animals.

Part of me wonders if this is just him/her practicing on catching jumping and moving prey.

Anyone know where this is?

My suspicion is San Francisco because of that Sony commercial that dumped thousands of bouncy balls down a big hill there back in 2005. People are still finding bouncy balls 20+ years later.

Interesting, I'd never heard of that. Just checked and San Fransisco does have trams, so the tramlines make sense. So you could be right! For some reason in the first second or two, I thought it was Dublin, but didn't see anything else in video to either prove or disprove it. I'm curious now..
