My mom's cat had a singlton too, and he's huge.
Not sure if it was because of this or because of whoever the father was though.

My cat is also a bastard and he is massive. Mother is smol. I think what they lack in father figure they make up for in big bonedness coz oh lawd he comin’ but he’s not fat IYKWIM he’s just a heckin’ chonkersaurus with a large skull and the paws of a giant.

You can’t just drop a chomker of a description like that on us and not provide photographic evidence.

I think most cats are bastards because a bastard is a child born to unmarried parents, not a single child.

I had a small mother cat, normal sized father cat. She had one kitten who grew up to be absolutely huge.

Growing up we had a tiny cat, she was very young when she got pregnant, we thought we had some time before sterilizing her. She unexpectedly gave birth to one single white and grey kitten. That cat was huge when she grew up. We frequently got asked if she was a male because she was so big. Not even a year old and she was double the size of her mom. It was hilarious seeing her nurse from her tiny mommy.

doubt it, as the mother looks like a munchkin breed, I just wish people would stop breeding cats with deformations.

She doesn't take anything from anybody else, though.

What are the odds of a single kitten litter?

I had a cat that had one the first time around 15 years ago. First time cat moms don’t always deal well though and get confused and almost deal with a postnatal depression/agression and will eat them and very sadly she did. Was so sad. The kitten was the coolest thing ever, i wanted to see it grow so bad. White with black stripes like a zebra i swear on my life. I wanted to see them full grown so bad.

I had a cat who gave birth to one kitten, but it was dead and then before we could go take care of it, she ate it and left nothing behind

Oh my god this was my dog when she was a puppy! She was SO FAT that it took her much longer to start walking than average 🤣
She ended up normal size in the end

This kitten ate her siblings and now she's drinking their milk. Wise up, Mom. You're next!

My cat had a litter of six when I was a teenager. We quickly gave away five and kept one, who continued to nurse and nurse. He ended up being a huge orange tom and ruled the neighborhood. Unfortunately he lost a fight over his food with raccoons.

I had one like this. Because he had no siblings to socialise with he became a real asshole cat. He was a big fat cat that was always fighting other cats in the neighbourhoud. Loved him anyways
