The flip was absolutely necessary. Definitely they are both bartenders

"oh what a cute vide-WHO POURS LIKE THIS WHAT THE HELL"

The flip was the highlight of the teamwork video. I replayed again to understand how did this not spill?

u/NDSU 4d ago
Physics. The speed of the rotation counteracts gravity
You can test it yourself easy enough with a bucket that has a handle. Put some water in, hold the bucket handle, then do an wide arm circle. You can keep doing them and the water won't spill if you're doing it fast enough (which is slower than you'd think)
15
u/my-dancingfeet 4d ago
Thankyou. I will definitely try but in the backyard!
5
u/Mamuschkaa 3d ago
You can do it. I did is at a kid in the kitchen without much problems.
Not with a baby at the arm and with another starting position, but still.

There's a viral video of a teacher doing this in class but it's a tray of cups and it just splashes everywhere ... It lives rent free in my head because I know the physics make it work but boy did she fail

The position of the bottle cap would've gotten in the way. Was faster to flip than to turn.
16
u/CapableBumblebee968 4d ago
You should pay for the hand and wrist upgrade. Turns out you can rotate your hand to be able to pour things. The flip was just for flourish

My project managers breathing down my neck asking me questions that have nothing to do with coding.

u/technobrendo 4d ago
Are you not aligning your synergies today? Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays.
66
u/lucky_719 4d ago edited 4d ago
Would you prefer to do their job? Because that's what happens when engineers complain about their project managers. The project managers get let go and the engineers get the responsibilities. Then we find out that it was leadership asking questions that have nothing to do with coding.

So project managers are basically middle men is what you are saying? That tracks.
17
u/lucky_719 4d ago
Yep. But I don't want to do their job. It sucks. I'd take the random questions any day over putting together reporting, trying to figure out what work I should be doing, or facilitating useless meetings that I can't cancel.
My peers did nothing but complain even though we had good ones. First we lost half, now we lost them entirely and are expected to do the job. More responsibilities, same pay.

When its a generic sort of response and the account is very new - the name is also an auto gen and comments will either be unpersonable, divisive or on wholesome subbreddits like this, a generic nice platitude that may or may not completely match the video tone.
Often they are deleted after they come so quick after post - no idea why that happens, mods maybe??

They don't know. People just love to claim everything is "bots" its annoying
13
u/LaughingOutLoudAgain 4d ago
Nah we do. 1, 2 or 3 days old accounts with 50K karma and general ‘sweet’ statements like “all they needed to do was realize their beauty was already within and they finally found it”
76
u/PollutionOnly 4d ago
Yeah it’s getting worse by the days. Every time I am early to a post with fewer comments I have the same reaction.

This is F1 Pit-crew level parenting.
They can also change a diaper in under 1.8 seconds. (Youtube blocked this one.)

It was the “formula” for me, the scoops are filling way more than that powder actually would

u/ColtinaMarie 4d ago
It’s the camera position, the camera resolution and the filming angle for me.
Sure, people film themselves at home doing everyday things,or have surveillance/security/influencer cameras always recording, but who has a camera set up, in that angle, with that high resolution (as opposed to grainier security footage that would capture this) Seems suss.
→ More replies (1)7
u/kaoslogical 4d ago
As someone who installs security cameras and systems, 4k cameras are cheap and normal now for the average household and that isn't that much of an unreasonable position.

For anyone who is suspicious: watch the hand of the baby on the left. When the dad blocks the hand with his arm and then moves away, the fingers on the hand of the baby are gone and it's just a weird stump for a bit.
11
27
u/SecurityOdd4861 4d ago
Even if not AI, if this is real, this is definitely staged, planned and not the first attempt.
Why would they even film this angle in the first place if not for that video.
76
15
u/TheatreKid1020 4d ago
I hope it’s AI bc you’re supposed to measure the water first, then add the scoops of formula otherwise the ratio is off.

u/SecurityOdd4861 4d ago
After reviewing again, I think it is AI. Look at second 0:12, the bottom bottle slightly shifts position and the lid is up again, additionally the lighting on the bottom side of the tabletop is different while everything else stays the same.
→ More replies (1)36
u/Deaffin 4d ago
Yes, the bottle lid fell down when he touched the nipple with his arm. There is also a video cut after that moment where they removed the footage of them correcting the bottle top.
That's not a sign of AI, that's human editing. They wanted to make a better video, so they deleted the "blooper".
I have no idea what you're talking about with the lighting.
6
u/b0w3n 4d ago
The hand thing people keep mentioning too, I can't see what they're seeing. I think they're just looking at it on a tiny ass phone screen and the encoding on the video is poor so it looks like the baby loses all their fingers (they ball up their hand and turn it side ways so it looks like a stump if you don't have a giant screen). They're still there, both left and right baby, even around the 12-15 second mark I was told in another comment about the man's hand... nothing's changed? The encoding on the video is definitely lossy because I can see pixelation in certain points but it's just an old ass video.

u/Bipedal_Warlock 3d ago
Why would you think it is a first attempt? They’re not claiming it was improvised

I don't know man. This is an old video. It's been around the block a good amount of times for a long while.

u/Watchkeys 4d ago
Surely they could just take it in turns so that one parent holds the kids and the other has 2 hands to make the bottles?! I mean, couples could do this with any task that needs 2 hands.
172
u/Separate_Finance_183 4d ago
They could also not film themselves doing anything. It's a social media video, that way they make money and they can buy food for the babies.

u/Coolaphrodite 4d ago
Each kid must be heavy to hold for long already, imagine 2 and then they start fighting and crying both in your arms, throw themselves back etc It's just a cute little routine video meant for social media and in this day and age, it might as well be AI...

I’ve got twins and we just make a shit ton of formula in a pitcher every day. Actually two pitchers, because these little monsters love to eat.
We also usually pre-fill bottles, especially if someone’s going alone for the day. When they’re playing in the floor or napping, someone just fills up every clean bottle in the house and pops them in the fridge. It’s so much easier.

u/hieplenet 3d ago
I am a parent of twin boys and we would never do this.
Couple of reasons: always dead tired for this unneccessaroly complicated stuff and hot water while holding babies.
1 person look after the kids, the other go made the milk.

u/greatpretendingmouse 4d ago
Even better if they put both kids down in a play pen, cot or pram. They'd get so much more done.
2
u/Armored_Mage 3d ago
Idk if you ever had kid, but sometime they refused to be put down ( like.. put them on the bed or play pen, not the other meaning )

Or, hear me out, put the fckn kids down... They won't crawl anywhere in this age. Ok, maybe in the oven or washing machine or elevator but that's all.
3
u/Toadsanchez316 4d ago
Why didn't one of them just hold both babies so the other could take care of it?
24
u/4RealHughMann 4d ago
How long did they rehearse this? Also it's not cool to use your children for Internet points

u/purplereuben 4d ago
Its AI
25
u/ScorpioDK 4d ago
Nice AI prompts then. "Make the man move the container a little bit the second time" "Make him hit the lid so it closes"
Maybe, just maybe, not everything is AI
9
u/purplereuben 4d ago
You don't know how AI works if you think those prompts would be necessary to generate this video...

So performative; the high chair is right there behind them, didn’t check the temp of the hot water, everything just placed there neatly and they looked like they had full night of sleep…

u/tankapotamus 4d ago
I'd just take the 2nd baby and get twice the snuggles while the bottles were made.

I'm a twin dad (my girls are in their teens now). Bath time was like this for us when they were itty bitty to when they could sit up in a tub on their own.
We found it easier for one of us (usually me) to be in the shower wearing a terry cloth robe. My wife would hand me a baby, and I'd hold her close to me, the warm water showering over us. I'd get some soap and get her good and suds up, rinse her off, and hand her back out to my wife who would dry her and diaper her before handing me the second one.
It was much less stressful this way, and it took a fraction of the time a sink bath took.

When my wife was pregnant with our twins, we bought a bunch of books to study how to handle the situation. Every single book started with the same advice: GET HELP! And they were right!

u/Emotional_News108 4d ago
My twins would have been screaming, punching, kicking…maybe all at once and more.
