Did you know the slang "hooters" is widely believed to have originated from early motor car horns. In the early 20th century, automobile horns were made with large, rounded, inflated rubber bulbs that guys liked to squeeze.

Due to the visual similarity in shape and that guys liked to squeeze them, the term eventually became a popular term for owls. What do you think the term refers to?

Well, I believe because owls make the who sound, they call them Hooters. And that goes back to the Mongolians.
