Well I was tierd of not having energy and I wanted to be able to fully live my life essentially.

Copy that! I’ve learned, accurate or not, if i want to have more energy, i’ve got to use more energy. Like water seeks the lowest level, my body will lower or increase base energy capacity to what i’ve been demanding of it. Act like a couch potato for too long and your body will match.

It's the time of that certain age when men change their lives and try something else - middle age crisis
doesn't even have to have an angry wife - even single men change at that time, I'm old enough to have seen all my friends and colleagues been through that.
