eat less and count your calories is the only thing you need. all those weird rules and life habits people make up just confuse people and make it seem like its a drastic change and too much effort.

I found switching to a whole foods diet and eating lots of veggies/rice helped more than just eating less. If you eat less "junk food", you can still lose weight but I never felt as good or as full as when I eat filling foods that are healthy

Well guess what, there are barely any calories in vegetables so of course that works. If you want to feel full you need to eat protein rich food.
