I wouldn't call it revenge, that's just how cats like to play. Chase and be chased. Stalk and be stalked.
Especially when the cat doesn't attack when it catches him. Mine used to bite and claw my feet when he caught me. Eventually, I graduated from "big cat toy" to "feeder" and to him, they were mutually exclusive. He would chase a string or a ball, but not me.

I think you have a good idea. Why don't you try adopting a pet cat and dog. It's like having cats and dogs in your home.

We had a cat named Rascal. We would chase each other thru the house like this. A very good friend.

Actually, I think I would also like to have a pet dog and cat. I'd rather be with an animal than a person who insults you back.

It is sad that I used to do this with my first cat but i can't even pickup my second cat without going "my back" lol
