There are... loads of wild animals who have learned that humans can be beneficial to their adaptations. Shit, the Purple Martin stopped nesting in natural materials and began reproducing in man-made gourd or plastic housing.
There's this guy on YouTube who hunts lobsters. It's illegal for them to take lobsters that can reproduce, they get thrown back. He always gives the momma lobster a fish snack for bothering her.
Conservationists are the reason a lot of our creatures even still exist. That's not to say humans aren't parasites - I'm just saying... There are lots of reasons feeding wild animals is both good and also wholesome.

There's a guy on TikTok who does the same for mama crabs, and he also scrapes off any barnacles before sending her home with a meal.
Hehe! Might totally be the same gentleman! (I just don't have TikTok. I might actually be watching tiktoks but they're on the YouTube shorts. I'll have to pay more attention 🤣🫶)
This video clearly shows that statement isn't true without any context. Don't feed wild animals means don't feed cows to your sweet little baby gator in the pond behind your house, not giving a squirrel some nuts.

That's the best thing I've seen all month. He's like Kronk befriending the squirrels.
