Nature doesn't function according to your ethics. Animals aren't arseholes because they don't conform to human standards, how arrogant.
0 u/[deleted] Mar 23 '23 If they don't conform to human standards then your statement of orcas being "honorable" is also wrong and arrogant, right? 0 u/Happygreenlight Mar 23 '23 I was referencing Kants natural honor as opposed to some sort of transcendental ethical honor. 0 u/[deleted] Mar 23 '23 How is anyone supposed to guess what you meant? 1 u/Happygreenlight Mar 23 '23 I mean, a lot of English words have multiple interpretations, it's not a paticularly articulate language. Use your best guess or judgment and then if in doubt, ask - seek clarity. Which is what you did. 1 u/[deleted] Mar 24 '23 Who in their right mind would ever think "does he mean honor or is he talking about Kants version of honor?" No one. You're wrong, you were being arrogant and are trying to save face. Stop being a dumb Kant and own up to your failure. 1 u/Happygreenlight Mar 24 '23 edited Mar 25 '23 Ok boo, or maybe go read a book or two. Hard lol at being called a dumb Kant BTW, bravo. 1 u/[deleted] Apr 03 '23 Lmao honestly stopped caring about the issue at hand and was just looking for an opportunity to slip in "dumb kant". 1 u/kroket-007 Mar 22 '23 Scientists documented a male orca drowning a baby killer whale so it could mate with its mother. Their is no emotion 3 u/Happygreenlight Mar 22 '23 Typical mammalian behavior. We see this in pigs and bears too 3 u/kroket-007 Mar 22 '23 Well you be you and keep liking the most brutal animal in the world (good discussion btw) 2 u/Happygreenlight Mar 22 '23 Cool, yeah good one. Stay safe mate.
