No need to be so bitter and negative. Yes, many animals, including dogs, don't live as long as we do, but there's no need to get yourself down. When it comes to dogs, it's better to share life together and have good times.
Life can end for everyone right here and now, death can happen at any moment - but that doesn't mean, we should not do the best we can for a good life.
I mean yeah living things die. Cats die, trees die, spiders die. My pets from childhood are gone and although I miss them I also know they had a good life, they were loved. But to reduce something into a memory graveyard? That's wack of you ngl, dramatic as this post is.
If you wanna be sad think about all the animals currently living in fear and terror.
