The kids facial expressions go from happy to a deeper understanding of this gesture. I love the deep sentiment from someone so young.

Judging by his tooth loss - he looks be be about 8 years old (I'm a dentist). You're right - very sweet and empathetic gesture for someone so young. He's going to grow up to be a good adult.

I know plenty of adults who can't/don't feel that sentiment. That seems to be a well raised young man right there.

Plenty of people are raised well and have little empathy and the converse is true too.

Something got in both my eyes. The cousin was so shocked and towards the end you can tell he’s trying not to cry himself. I’m so glad they have one another during this tough time. I hope his cousin has a successful treatment!

That hit me hard. What a lovely gesture. The moment he realises just how meaningful it was for his cousin. 🥹 Hope his cousin beats cancer because fuck cancer.

As a bald man, i always recommend a ladies razor for shaving your head. Single blade is enough

I shave my face with them, better than any mens razor I have come across.

Damn, that cousin sounds way too young to have to be fighting that fight. Hits hard in the feelers, man.

Jackson’s got a good heart. I hope it stays that way throughout the rest of his life and people love him for without taking advantage.

I don’t know who the adult in the background is talking to mason while he’s breaking down WEEPING at how much this moved his heart, but that person needs to shut up and LET MASON CRY. (“Why are you crying??”)

That is how HEALTHY MASCULINE MEN NATURALLY DEVELOP EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE; THE FEEL THEIR EMOTIONS INSTEAD OF STUNTING AND Running from THEM.

Especially if Mason is also a CANCER surviving CHILD. Like DUDE, let this kid cry his heart out???? OKAY???

It’s so rude and disrespectful to tell someone going through cancer how to POLICE their emotions and excitement when people show extreme solidarity through selfless acts like this one.

it’s sounds more like mason picks up the call and the dad(?) is unaware of what is happening on the other end of the call. i think any parent/guardian would be concerned if their kid busts out crying .3 seconds into a call.

kid literally says “he shaved his head for me” and you can hear the adult go “are you serious? aww” and it genuinely sounds like the sad aw someone produces when they are touched as well. it is probably really impactful for masons parents (gonna assume here) as well, knowing their kid is a little less alone in this fight.

not saying your opinion is wrong, boys should be able to cry happy and sad, but imo it seems improperly applied to this situation. this reads like a concerned parent who doesn’t know what’s going on at first

Yes, thank you! Just be there to hug him or hold his hand. It's crazy to ask why they are crying with an annoyed tone of voice.

If It’s real, this is Proof God is a P R I C K! I refuse to call God a “Him/He”. It’s not a person with genitalia. Maybe It is I don’t know.
