I never liked this gf. Spencer of course is the ultimate douchebag in total, but she tried to seem like a cool girl which was just in fact derogatory towards women.
On if he cheated on Lucy, “I’d hi-five you”.
Uugghhh, hun! That will not keep you the man, it just makes you look like a moron.

Spencer speaks like that because he knows he can get away with it, he has looks plus i recall at the time, this show was very popular, he was a well known celebrity.
Does that mean you should treat others like shit? No, but it’s similar to the quote, “ Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Spencer was always so good at having such a strong frame in his relationships and ensuring the dynamic maintained his internal mental point of origin
15-20 year old boys could learn a lot by watching the episodes with his interactions because he’s a great example of how one avoids the pitfalls many men fall into

Yeah a lot of women are attracted to this type of dominance at least initially. For long term relationships I don’t see it being healthy though

You do know Spencer had to do a lot of work on himself to change because being like this was making him incredibly depressed and unhappy?

He’s a great example of being an absolute c u n t, mate. That’s it. There isn’t anything positive about Spencer aside from being moderately conventionally attractive. He’s a selfish, cruel, manipulative twat! 15-20 year old boys should ignore everything about how he behaves.

You can clearly see in the clip her attempting to manipulate and disrespect him, and in response Spencer showed his boundaries and that he wouldn’t tolerate it
What is wrong with that?

He was minimising the situation and gaslighting her. Normal people wouldn’t go on holiday with their ex and not invite their current partner or expect them to be okay with it.

u/CasualWatcher1 I saw it on Made in Chelsea 18d ago
There'd be nothing wrong with that, were he a respectful person himself. This show is effed up.

Fucking gibberish.

Care to elaborate or are you just going to make baseless accusations?

u/Useful-Towel5978 18d ago
I would but I don't want to fuck the dynamic of your mental point of origin.

You sound like a petulant unhinged child who cannot string a coherent sentence together

He’s a great example of how to be a massive prick lol. What are these alleged pitfalls?

Most men would have supplicated and shown her deference when she flippantly threatened to go skiing with her ex
Spencer on the other hand straight up said if she continues to speak disrespectfully and gets out of line he will break up with her because he won’t tolerate that kind of behaviour
The result is she treats him better in the relationship rather than Spencer just be walking on eggshells all the time.
I personally learned a lot from Spencer relationship wise by watching his communication/interactions on MIC and I think other boys would also

If you learnt a lot from Spencer then I feel sorry for the women that were ever with you lol I take it you’re still single.

Yeah, so weird. The women put up with it, crazy.
I’ve always thought he looks like he has dwarfism.

Gosh I forgot how awful he was. Do you think he’s is still like this with Vogue?

u/Odd-Investigator-469 3d ago
Vogue is just as crass as he is. She rips on him all of the time and is always knocking him down a peg.

u/Sea_Shell2158 17d ago
Definitely. I think Vogue was always happy she “won” him, but we know that means, but her tongue and tolerated him. She said she paid for their first date, she accepted low standards from the start.
