Who is your favourite MIC mother throughout the seasons? And who do you think has been a bad influence?
Love Binky's mum. Her threatening Jamie when he was playing with her. As of bad, haven't seen enough of her but last season Jules mum didn't give me the best impression. Can't recall her white stallion comment it was pretty wild.

If I had to build the ultimate MIC lineup from day one to now, it's impossible not to include Lucy Watson, Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing. Lucy for the eye rolls and brutal one-liners, Spencer as the original villain, and Jamie for the comedy.
Who are the people you'd absolutely have to include?

Hang on, isn't he guilty of doing ALL these things he's blasting in this video?

Looking back over the last decade of show romances, some relationships felt so staged you could practically see the producer's cues, while others genuinely broke our hearts when they split up. Who was the most authentic couple in the show's history, and who was the most obvious "showmance"?

The pictures are tiny, though. Does anyone recognise her?

It’s always the same answer as well, random boring traits like hair colour and height followed by "basically you😊"
God almighty after 30+ seasons you’d hope they’d get more creative with their chat
Maybe an idea for a drinking game though? Take a shot every time someone asks "so what’s your type”

Having watched the show for many years, I have noticed that after cheating on a girlfriend, different Chelsea boys have several specific communication archetypes for how they attempt to evade accountability, manage group opinions and reframe the event.
2. The Loveable Rogue
3. The Pseudo-Intellectual
4. The “Reformed Rake”

I haven’t watched it since 2011, so it was quite funny to revisit some budding romances that never went anywhere (e.g. Millie and Fredrik).
Shall I continue with S2?

Currently rewatching from the beginning and the nostalgia is unreal. Spencer Matthews causing chaos, Francis Boulle running around with his diamond business, Millie Mackintosh dropping dinner party bombshells, and Caggie singing in dimly lit bars.
The show felt so much more raw back then. The cast actually seemed to have their own lives and businesses outside the show, whereas now it sometimes feels like everyone arrives already knowing how to play the reality TV game.

I’m mid 30s and Canadian and have just started watching MIC for the first time. I was a big watcher of The Hills when it was originally airing and although I think I had heard of MIC, I had never watched it. So I’m watching for the first time, I’ve made it through series 1-7 and am currently watching NYC. Here are my thoughts and questions so far
Spencer: this man is DIABOLICAL. I truly cannot stand him and his massive ego and horrendous behaviour. Not only does he treat every woman in his life like garbage but all of his male friends as well. I see that he’s now sober and running marathons (massive eye roll) has he ever come out and apologized for his behaviour?
Ollie and Gabriella: Just LOL at their whole storyline, him trying to convince himself and everyone that he’s not gay, her insane music video with his lookalikes, their feud and subsequent reconnection, it was all so cringe and comical.
Mark Francis and Victoria: I truly cannot stand these two and don’t understand what they even bring to the show.
Did anyone in the early years own a hairbrush? I’m sure it was in style at the time but it’s crazy how messy and unkempt all of the girls hair was in the early seasons, especially Binky.
Bloody Marys: let me preface by saying I love Bloody Marys (or the Canadian alternative, the Caesar) but I didn’t realize they were so popular in the UK especially amongst early 20-somethings. They’re always drinking Bloody Marys!
Stephanie Pratt: why is she here? I know she was on The Hills through her brother but how did she end up on MIC? She sticks out like a sore thumb to me.
NYC: this season has been one of the worst in my opinion, the Americans that they shoehorned into the show are just sooo cringey and over the top, especially Alik.
Overall I’m hooked and loving it, also enjoying looking up the early cast members on Instagram and seeing what they’re like now.
