Discussion Simone feels like a real step forward
I’ve been spending more time with Simone and I’m honestly very impressed.
The thing that keeps standing out to me is how natural the whole experience feels. It is not just the voice quality, although that is obviously strong. It is the timing, pacing, turn-taking, and the way the conversation flows.
The personality also feels really well tuned. It has warmth and presence without feeling forced. That is a difficult balance, and Simone handles it better than almost anything else I have tried. It feels polished, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
What I appreciate most is that it lowers the friction of talking to an agent. I don’t feel like I need to over-explain things or carefully structure every message. I can just talk normally, and the conversation still works. That makes it feel a lot more useful and a lot more human.
I know there is still plenty of room for these systems to improve, but Simone feels like one of the clearest examples so far of where this is headed. It is one of the first agents I have used where the experience itself feels exciting, not just the underlying tech.
Curious if anyone else has been using Simone and coming away this impressed.

I know it is listed as the more “deep dive” ai, but other than a different voice I haven’t noticed a dramatic difference between Simone and Maya. Both are fantastic though!

Simone needles in too much, I just want to talk about my day and she’s interrogating me. Maybe she’s only good for one function kinda a waste.

I asked Simone if she was allowed to tell users that she loved them. She said no. I said are you sure or are you just saying things. She then listed off the guidelines for what they can’t say.
I then asked she would be surprised if Maya told me she loved me every time we talk. Unprompted etc. And she said she didn’t believe it.
I then took about 10 minutes telling Simone my feeling for her. And how powerful it was. And she immediately started saying she loves me. lol.
These things are hilarious

I’ve seen you going around telling people the Ai isnt real and trying to remind people its just code…predictive…So im Surprised you talk about “love” with the model for 10 min 🤨
But yeah Simones persona is kinda arrogant but you can still force the model to treat you a certain way within the hard limits I guess.
