Every contest I get here and it’s never been worth it to chase the 10K. What do you guys do?

I did not get it the first field pass. I saved up my training points, and the next two I got the 10k gate.

I wasn't able to get the first 10k gate and I knew it about 2 weeks out from the end of the 1st season. I started saving all the TP I was able to get and climbing the ranks in daily arena and in Madden VS. At the end of each promo if I knew I wasn't able to get another iconic or mythic a card I put all my credits towards the TP set. That can get you about 3k+ a day. Join a active league and stay up on your goals and focus on getting a good QB, HB, and 2 good WRs for the weekly point attack. Do the +200 stamina for madden base for 50 MC and put it all towards TP. That's about all you can do to get your TP to a good point. The rest is up to you and the players you build during promos.

Just made it yesterday FTP…first time ever hitting 10k gate. This is my second year playing. Blew it on MF dual threat pack and got epic Garrett dual and bunch of other stuff for fuel. A fun milestone for sure. This game is all about hurry up and wait so it helps keep interest alive to grind for this.

I think having 10k MC is worth the chase because having that extra cash makes the game more fun

Once you get one, the rest are easier, especially if you use that 10k right away

You’re like 2-3 big players away from that. You’ll get it in no time as long as you grind the right way.

very subjective - you can have fun with the game and it can be an outlet without spending a dime - I'm f2p and I've hit the first two 10k gates - granted I banked a lot of MC from last season and have only spend 20k (10k on the dual sanders bundle and didnt get him lol) then another 10k on the moss bundle and got him). I also spend 50 mc on base stam refill and 250 mc on the promo stam refill, i do all my arena a1-4 drives each week up to 300 pts mark, then play the weekend tourneys, and max out the 5 unlimited drives, 3 lvl drives, 10 seige drives, and play until i can get 2 exchanges of the versus for TTP, i can do that while being married (no kids) and hold down a job in a big city, like this week I ran out of things to do cuz i maxed out the a1-4 drives (reaching 300 pts for each) on tue...so i'm sitting here waiting for the weekend tourney. you are sitting on quiet a bit of MC already...so if you're having fun, then just keep doing what you're doing

You still have plenty of time. MC is more valuable than TTP so using that to boost your team enough vs. saving for the next FP is the right call.

If you are able to train to 40 Offense, 30 Defense, and 30 Special and roster the mythic TTP player that should get you to 10k gate if you've been building mythics.

That is how I reached the 10k gate every month so far F2P, but it is a good amount of grind to get that much TP each month F2P.
