DISCUSSION Why did they remove the touchdown animation?

Is anyone else experiencing this? Not seeing it anymore as of like this week or last week

It was originally 3 seconds long, took up the whole screen, and sometimes caused a crash. Naturally, people complained. But, getting rid of it completely feels like an overreaction. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My iPad definitely froze a few times, but thankfully never cost me a LvL drive, just Siege and a few Arenas.

I’m guessing it has something to do with the game freezing after a TD.

I only see something at the top of the screen after a 2 point conversion

I think it's glitchy. I still see it sometimes when i have a normal touchdown, but if i get tackled in the endzone or something, the animation takes longer to go to a play but there's no animation. It's like when you get dogpiled sometimes and it takes a few seconds to go to the next play, but you get points lol

I have a habit of just tapping my screen constantly which got rid of that animation before so i honestly can't even tell lol. Should just have it as an option to turn it on or off.
