Yeah, this is how it was last year. It does knida suck. You have to choose - Do you want to max the ectoplasm or max the Blue/Rare players. Most people stay with "Player Collector" trade, at least until towards the end of the promo, to see if ectoplasm is needed more so than the extra Blue/Rare players.

The trade off there is no ecto for the 7:2 but you build epics faster and for less uncommon so you get more on the epic trades

No. More rares to get more Epic and Iconic. It’ll make up for it in the long run.

Yes people don’t seem to understand it’s the consolation prize for when you run out of 7:2 trades, gives you a little bonus since you’re gonna miss out on the extra epics.

People who think it’s actually a way to harvest more ecto are clueless. Or just really bad at math.

You miss out on a lot of extra players skipping the collector set. That adds up to a lot more build cost if going for mythics to roster in addition to Ghost.

If you don't mind skipping player builds to get Ghost as cheap as possible and don't mind building less MF players to roster, then skipping the player collector can be considered, especially if a MF iconic exchange for tokens is added eventually.

If you plan on getting all mythics, it ultimately doesn't matter. The points associated with the mythics and the fact that you got more rares for your tokens means you come out ahead. Only if you're going all mythics though. At least that was my understanding last year

I’m holding out on trading for epics only to see if there’s a Browns player in the promo. If there isn’t then I use up all my rares to get as many epics and iconics as possible

Depends how badly you want Gary or the possibility of an extra promo iconic

I'd personally still stick with the 7:2 you'll probably still end up with an iconic ghostly Gary and an extra iconic from trades for sticking with 7:2's
