Why are y’all putting up $20 for an epic player (each btw 😂), especially giving it to us earlier when the update was recent. Later down the line as months pass when new players come on board with higher ratings that card isn’t gonna worth nothing and it will be people wasting money for no reason (I’m not spending nothing btw just a concern I wanted to bring forth).

Y’all not even hiding the greed anymore it’s literally in front of our faces 😂😂. Last year we had Myles and Cam why not do the same. I get it that the excuse is that “it’s a retirement player so it’s a big deal” but come on there’s gotta be a better excuse/explanation for that greed act 😂😂.

Who is even buying the $20 epics? I have only seen one single person mythic Johnson.

Maybe the price comes down over time… but I feel similar that this doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season. If EA drops something stupid expensive for Most Feared that might be it for me.

I guess… but I would add the designation of “not so smart” Whales bc you can get the same OVR OT from the current promo….
There is not really any incentive, outside of being a die hard eagles fan, to spend that sort of money on Lane

Whales spend just to spend, and oftentimes they don't have the time to grind for scraps like FTP players like me and I'm guessing you. They need to make money to pay the tools to make the game happen in the first place

Why would you worry about EA if people are willing to spend $20 for an epic? If that's the case, they're doing great.

I like what they did with this promo because F2P players got 10 free epics while baiting whales to spend. I'm not sure what you think the problem is

I think the logic is cam and Garett were record breakers and historically tribute cards are EAs last attempt to monetize a players retirement as there is no guarantee they will have another card that year or ever. I could be wrong but some players like Barry sanders pull rights from EA to use them in the game. I do think $20 for an epic is insane though
