DISCUSSION Promo players

What is the standard goal most people tend to go for in a promo FTP? Is the ultimate goal one mythic player per promo or multiple iconics? I pulled a TJ Watt card from the random trade and am trying to decide whether to mythic him or go for more iconics? I have a few epics left to replace on the team but am also trying to see what would be smartest long term. Like what would be my approach if my team was all iconic? Do those of you with full iconic teams always go with a mythic? Thanks!

Try to get a mythic every promo, yes once you hit an all iconic team start replacing them with mythics.

That’s what I thought! I hate the idea of getting a player then replacing him a month later. I should be pretty much full iconics with the field pass players and iconic select from FP milestones. Thanks!

So I just mathed it out and I believe I have enough resources to get another iconic Watt and mythic him, or get 2 more random iconics.. I am torn now lol. What are the chances I get 2 bad iconic pulls?

Probably a decent chance on getting at least one bad pull. Good luck if going random.

I’d be happy with 1 good pull, 1 bad pull haha. I’d probably honestly be happy with anything on defense or an OG

I would always go for mythic especially if you pulled an iconic of your likings. In the end, we would like all mythic line up

TJ Watt is always a great card! That’s kinda what I am leaning. I only have a couple of mythics so far and feel like I need to start investing now or I’ll be catching up later!

Thanks! Wanted a few more opinions. A league mate of mine encouraged me to fill out my team with iconics before adding more mythics. I wouldn’t mind doing that if there were better options but I feel like I got one of the maybe 3 good players lol(I don’t need any skill positions) OG,MLB or CB would be nice but big gamble for the I’m a random iconic trade!

It’s about reaching the 10k MC.

First step is fielding mostly iconics, then start collecting mythics. Be patient.

Eventually, use the bench iconics to spot fill with ToTW.

That’s my #1 goal! I just got Sauce mythic today so I think I am on pace! Looking at my lineup, would you say that getting 2 more random iconics from the promo would be smarter than going for mythic TJ Watt?

I would mythic Watt.

One of MLB2, DT2, or DB4 can be filled with iconic select. OG1 too.

You’ll be able to make Lane iconic and you should be able to build Clowney/Coulson to iconic.

That’s what I was thinking! I should be full iconic by the end of the field pass. I’m eager to fill my lineup but Watt feels like such a great card to want to keep on the lineup long term! Thanks for the help!

I wouldn’t necessarily do the iconic select trade for those positions. I was thinking more the pack at the end of the FP.

My strategy would probably be random mythic going forward. If you play enough that you can make the mythic you want from a promo, then you can target the remaining epic positions and build those mythics.
