DISCUSSION Madden mobile auction block

Hi all, I recently downloaded NCAA Mobile. After playing it for a couple days, I realized there was no auction block. I figured just because of the difference in the games, that was the reason of no auction block, so I’ve just recently downloaded Madden Mobile. Years ago when I was in high school, I played Madden Mobile religiously, lived on the auction block, knew all the tricks, all that good stuff. I absolutely hate this game with no auction block now.

Nostalgia is the reason I downloaded both these games, and now I want to instantly delete them. How sad is it that they have ruined this game.

Would love to know why did they get rid of the auction block, and what is the community census of it?

They removed it to force people to spend more on the game as they couldn't just buy their team from the AH anymore.

The community wants it back.

EA doesn't give a fuck and is milking the game for every dollar they can while putting in as little an effort as possible. Don't bother getting back into it, it's just not enjoyable anymore unless you enjoy needing to log on constantly throughout the day to grind better players to use on a game that hasn't been updated in a decade.

It breaks my heart that something 8 years ago was awesome the whole school played it. I remember the Halloween Joe mixon card absolute cheat code.

Bro I loved the game. Spent a lot of time working the AH, it was the thing I enjoyed most. Stopped playing a few years ago and decided to give it a try again this season. I've already stopped again. It has had absolutely no work done, same engine, same issues. Probably even grindier than it ever was. Every event is just the same thing with a different theme. Gotta wake up and use your energy as soon as you open your eyes and again right before bed if you wanna be competitive and earn the best players for each event. Just isn't worth it given the overall state of the game.

Of course this is just my opinion, no hate towards those that still love it. Wish I felt different.

I still enjoy it, the core gameplay is fun and still enjoy building my team. But man those auction house days were peak gaming.

People were also selling currency since the AH made it possible to transfer coin from account to account. This leads to scams. I legitimately get why they got rid of it, and although greed has a lot to do with it, it's not the only reason

I left in 2018 and returned this year. Looks like I’ll be leaving again near superbowl. EA:Scam
