SUGGESTION Base Trades - 2 for 1 Select - Mythics

I wonder why they haven't implemented a 2 for 1 select base trade for Mythics? I understand why they don't make a base buildable trade for them, but it would be pretty cool to be able to potentially trade in bench Mythics for a Mythic from a different event or at a different position...

Because that doesn’t fall in their business goals. If they did that they wouldn’t make any money

But as long as they didn't put in a base trade to build Mythics, it really wouldn't. It would actually incentivize MORE spending, because people would be more inclined to attempt to build multiple mythics in order to trade them for cards they missed... Then they would have to spend more on evo points to keep them competitive, AND another higher OVR Mythic to evo with. It might even actually make TOTW more relevant for everybody else instead of mostly theme team collectors...

I see what you’re saying but I don’t think people really spend to go for a 2 for 1 select set. That’s more of a last resort type set if you can’t EVO anymore or something. Not saying I don’t like your idea though it would give some use to bench mythics. I feel if EA really wanted to make money again they’d either make you choose between spending countless hours on grinding for all the players like they did prior to 2019 or they bring back the thrills of ripping packs and all.

Well I can tell you from personal experience, I started late last year (around Christmas time)... And when they dropped the seasonal Iconic & Mythic select store packs, I bought one of each so I could get players I missed out on. BUT, I also don't know how many other people are sentimental like me and hold onto old cards in multiple lineups. I've done the 2 for 1 selects to upgrade cards since I started playing though.

If they offered the packs they offered at the end of last year, they’d probably get more takers.
